Host: Letharia vulpina (L.) Hue
Host Notes: thallus; Letharia vulpina is the type host of Phacopsis vulpina; Lichenostigma maureri Hafellner has also been detected on many of the Letharia thalli, duplicates of that species are distributed under Lichenicolous Biota no. 254
