    Culms soft, sprea, arching and proliferating from apex, grey-green. Leaf sheath apex oblique, fragile. Frequent in more open areas around lowlying are and in shallow roadside drain. Slightly drier situations than E. plana.

(KW 10600), *C. gunnii* (10601), *Eleocharis* cf. pusilla
(immature), *E. plana* (10602); nearby *Carex inversa* (10604).
