2400 m. 5°53'Nr 61°59'W. Highly
eroded tepui summit with deep canyons to
100 m; boulder strewn slopes and tall
column formations. Vegetation sporadic;
shrubs and small trees 3-4 m in crevices;
Low shrubs and herbs in exposed rocky
areas and sand accumulations.
In cracks on exposed rocks; leaves
purple-green; flowers reddish-orange;
common.
