pendant tufts upon small limtjs of' medium sized trees in a
very humid forested depression at 3500 feet and between J)u-
ros and Cewilanan; roots profuse, greenish grey, fibrous,
rather tightly attached; stem diverse in length, leaf
covered from the base; leaves coriaceous, in E opposite
and alternating rowa, ensiform and imbricate at the, the
overlapping margins much paler green; spike terete, as-
cendingly curved, pale green; the divaricate and odorless
