The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Crassulaceae Kalanchoe laxiflora Baker det. M. Nee, 2002 Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Florida, at Achira Camping resort. Dry forest of Schinopsis haenkeana, Acacia aroma, in bottom of valley. 18°09.53’S, 63°48.80’W. alt. 1370 m. Forming colonies on dry roadside bank near entrance to Achira Camping, where also cultivated as an ornamental, seems to be a casual escape but probably well established. Leaves very fleshy. Just beginning to bloom; inflorescences erect; flowers pendant; calyx light yellow-green; petals light orange. Coll.: M. Nee 52198 18 April 2002 04107263
