Collectors: C J.Rothfels #2702, with A.L.Grusz, E.Lobo, M-J.Epps, B.D.Brandt Determination: R.Moran, 2008-July-18 Cerro Escazu, south side of. Approx. 3.4km east of Palmichal, on the end of the portion of dirt road that follows the Rio Tabarcia. One dense cluster of cespitose plants seen, ephiphytic on horizontal structure/wound of large angiosperm tree, with Asplenium praemorsum (CJR et al. 2703), etc. Disturbed forest edge/coffee plantation/residential area. Coordinates: N9.84168 W84.17202 +/-7m. 1482 m elev. Material fixed for chromosome study (but I didn't have my magnification set-up, so might not have got good stuff; also, these plants might have frozen slightly in the fridge overnight).
