Tree ca. 5m tall, planted near stream. Some leaves (new?)
red; most leaves green, darker adaxially than abaxially.
Flowers with 5 white petals; 10 stamens, anthers yellow,
filaments white. Grown from a wild collection in Le
Reduit, Mauritius. Silica sample deposited in the BBG
Lab tissue collection and at the NTBG herbarium.
