Locality:
Borneo; W. KAlimantan, Sintang
Bukit Baka National Park. Along ridge NE of camp.

Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Shorea,
Myrtaceae, Meliaceae, Proteaceae. Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Tree 15 m tall, 11 cm dbh. Outer bark grey, finely
striated, hooped. Inner bark pale yellow. Wood faint
sweet aroma. Leaves smooth, shiny. Young fruit
green, stigma showy, 5 mm long.
