Excoecaria agallocha Linnaeus, Syst., ed. 10, 1288, 1759. Tree about 5 m. tall with white, adhesive latex. Leaves alternate, glabrous, oval- obovate, margins revolute, entire, up to 8 or more cm. long, midrib prominent, lateral veins slender, petioles up to 2 cm. long.
