Tafunsak Municipality, Yela River valley, lower southern part just above mangrove zone on slopes and difFarea; non-inundated evergreen wet forest with canopy of Horsfeldia nunu, Elaeocarpus carolinensis, emergent Reus prolixa, mid-stratum of Dendrocnide, Reus tincteoria, Polyscias, Maesa, Eugenia, and Routoeria, ground flora mainly fisms. Fern, juvenile form creeping on mossy rocks, with bipinnatifid fronds; adult form climbing trees, with simple fronds, some fertile. Common hemiepiphyte in shady forest.
