Asplenium spec, of the A. monanthes group, but with
several sori.
C.R. Fraser-Jenkins 13506, 3-VI-1987. Rocky stream banks
below Pinus etc. 1 km before (E. of) end of forestry road
from Chinatu to Tecolote, c. 50 km S.W. of main road (near
San Pedro, S.of El Vergol) from Hidalgo del Parrol to
Guadalupe y Calvo.
Clump collected living, packed well in moss, arrived
in Basel on 25-VII-1987 in nearly dry condition, separated
into 7 parts, treated like cuttings under glass, six sur-
vived and soon grew well in pots, cold greenhouse. Plant
(D fixed 15-VI-1988 was triploid, n = c.108 (det. H.
Rasbach, in litt. 3-VII-1988.
