Flora of Bolivia Family: Lauraceae Nectandra amazonum Nees. Determined by: Hank van der Werff (MO), 1999 Department of Beni Province of Cercado Laguna Suarez, approximately 5 km S.E. of the city of Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters. Tree. Bark: gray with small shallow fissures. InneF bark: cinnamon with a thin green layer and a spicy scent Occasional Corolla: white. Habitat: seasonally inundated gallery forest along the edge of the lake.
