Catase tum viridif	Hmek. ?
Pseodubulbs 1-1.5 dm. long, cylindric, tapering at both ends, 3-4 cm,
T in diameter : leaves b or 6; blades oblong-linear te ofclanceolate, acute
at the apex, narrowed toward the base, articulated te the sheathing bread
and shert petiole, with abeut 5 principal nerves, green abeve, whitish
beneath, 3-5 dm. long and 5-6 cm. wide: inflerescence from the base of
the pseudebulb, erect, extending to a little beyond half the length of
the leaves, 4 dm. long, including the inflorescence which is about 1 dm. ?,
long, the peduncle with abeut 5 nodes, the middle ones about 6 cm. apart,
the sheathing bracts rounded at the apex, about 1 cm. long, white or ,
yellowish, with about 11 principal nerves, the bracts subtending the
flowers similar but acute and shorter than the ovary: flowers 6, stamin-
ate, usually reflexed;	sepals and petals crowded together away from
the lip which is clearly exposed, greenish white, slightly flushed with
purple, s*cute, the lateral sepals elliptic to obovate, inequilateral,
curved, 3.5-4 cm. long and about 2.5 cm. wide, somewhat concave, keeled,
the dorsal sepal equilateral, obovate, about 4 cm. long and 2.25 cm.
wide, deeply concave; petals about as long as the sepals, a little broad-
er, oval, somewhat inequilateral; lip saccate, fleshy, in side view conic
with the angles rounded and the sides 2.5-3 cgi. long, greenish^ <mi the
margins and whit ishnih .the, centre which is transversely marked^ebscure
purplish curved lines, contracted on the upper surface, the opening con-
tracted in the middle, the margin of the front portion of the mouth
thickened and glabrous, the rear portion thin on the margin and ciliate,
the interior surface yellow and green^ the lower part blotched and dotted
with purple: column white tinged with green, curved on the back, acuminate
at the thin and\flattened apex, the appendages 2-2.5 cm. long, green, the
one to the right curved upward, the one to the left downwardly hooked
