North Walpole, SSW-facing slope of Fall Moun-
tain. Elevation ca. 150 meters. Mixed forest
of Quercus rubra, Q. velutina, alba, Q.
ilicifolia, prinoides, Betula and Acer.
Small trees ca. 3-4 meters tall; several
mature individuals on gentle, protected slope;
fruits red, soft but not juicy.
