Very large grower, heavy trunk all the way to
the bud. Trunk diameter at one foot about 18".
tapering above that to a diameter of about 8-9 •
Medium green fronds fall off clean, leaving a flat
top look and clean trunk. Prolific long brown scales.
Grows in sun or shade. Not common on Finca, only
about five specimens on part near house.
