Along very winding road from Naolinco to Misantla,
13 km. by road S of turnoff to Yecuatla and 6 km.
by road N of Paz de Enriquez, Mun. Yecuatla.
ca. 19°51'N, 96°48'30"W	alt. 1200 m.
BOSQUE CADUCIFOLIO. Steep slopes with Liquidambar
macrophylla, Gunnera killipiana, Alnus acuminata ssp.
arguta, Hedyosmum mexicanum and giant Ulmus mexicana,
Platanus mexicana.
Shrub 3 m. tall. Fruit brown; when opened the
seed shiny black and the aril white.
