(by air) W of Fortin, Mun. Iztaczoquiatlan. SELVA MEDIANA SUBPERENNIFOLIA. Disturbed forest at base of steep, rocky limestone hills. 18°54'N, 97°00'30"W alt. 900 m. Small tree with characteristic form: an erect central trunk which then divides repeatedly to form a rounded or flat- topped crown with all the leafy twigs in one layer. Inflorescences erect-arching; flowers yellow- green, lightly and pleasantly fragrant (just after sunset). Coll.: M. Nee & K.
