How common in arid situations ce ket below. 500 ft. especially near the coad where it often grows to cheekly as to make a pas- sage through the serub almost impossible without the use of a wood knife. The porris on- cous hairs produce great irritation of the skin which may last for several days. Specimen is from a dry ravine 5 miles N. & Bonda 100 ft. Nov.30.
