Vigorous herb with numerous stems from base, to 2 m.
tall. Flowers white, blooming for much of the summer,
for a month or more after the female flowers are
finished. Cultivated in garden, a perennial herb.
Transplanted several years ago from native population in
floodplain prairie along Pine River, \ mile to the SW,
T 10 N; R 1 E; SE*NW* sec. 35.
WISCONSIN: Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center.
