The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Euphorbiaceae Caperoniapalustris (L.) St. Hil. det. M. Nee, 2000 DEPTO. SANTA CRUZ: Prov. Wames, 9.5 km E of Wames, on small dirt road, 2.5 km (by road) NW of Candelaria. Brushy areas and trees along fencerows and in pastures, flat, sandy, originally probably subtropical semi-deciduous forest. With Lonchocarpus pluvialis, Cecropia polystachya, and scattered Acrocomia aculeata, Attalea phalerata. 17°30’S,63°05’W. alt. 320 m. Erect herbs in roadside ditch with Polygonum punctatum, evidently just beginning the season. Flowers white. Coll.: M. Nee 50538 21 Nov. 1999 03950155
