spore length: 5.5 - 7.0 microns; spore width: 5.5 - 7.0 microns; spore shape: Elliptical; spore texture: Smooth; spore color: Clear; spore print color: White. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Tremella fuciformis.
