Description
spore length: 7.5 - 12 microns; spore width: 3 -4 microns; spore shape: elliptical to sole shaped, somewhat clavate; spore texture: fine to coarse warts; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. Spore photo shows one of the Crepidotus (host) spores. Spore print was not obtained. The spores were deposited directly on a glass slide from the voucher specimen in the field. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Hypomyces tremellicola.
