Description
spore length: 7.5 - 8.5 microns; spore width: 7.5 - 8.5 microns; spore shape: round; spore texture: faintly warted; spore color: brown; spore print color: n/d. Unable to obtain a spore print due to the small nature of the species. Specimen was placed directly on a glass slide to obtain the spore photos. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Stemonitis splendens.
