Description
spore length: 4-6 microns; spore width: 4-6 microns; spore shape: round; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: pinkish. Extremely rare. This specimen was verified by Jay Justice, Dr. Walt Sundberg and Dr. Andrew Methven. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Pluteus mammillatus.
