Description
spore length: 13 microns; spore width: 5 microns; spore shape: elliptical, oil drops at each end; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. There is no spore sample. I placed the fungi directly on the glass mount to get the spores. The spores were very faint, but appeared to be white (hard to tell). The fungi is so small I couldn't get enough to definitely call the color of the spores. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Bisporella citrina.
