Description
spore length: 7 microns; spore width: 7 microns; spore shape: round; spore texture: warted; spore color: hyaline to slightly tinted; spore print color: salmon pink. The cap's distinctive network of ridges & its salmon pink color make this fungi easy to indentify. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Rhodotus palmatus.
