Description
spore length: 66 - 79 microns; spore width: 4 - 7 microns; spore shape: greatly elongated, club shaped; spore texture: smooth; spore color: browish black; spore print color: n/d. Unable to obtain a spore print due to the small nature of the species. Specimen was placed directly on a glass slide to obtain the spore photos. Note: The spore photo shows 0 - 7 septa (partitions) in all spores. Body was smooth, not velvety. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Glutinoglossum glutinosum.
