Bark reddish-brown, rugose; inner bark red. Fruit orangy-brown. Flower buds in axile of leaf scars on old wood. Locality: Ceram: c. 40 km E of Masohi in Wae Ruatan/Wae Ruwata (Ruwa) catchment areas. Habitat: Riverine forest, beside Wae Ruwata. 150 m, 3°11’S X 129°15’E J.S.
