Semi-aquatic grass. Growing
throughout the shallows. Fertile.
Florets purple. Habitat: shallowly
inundated (0.5 m) edge of the lake.1
Numerous small trees and shrubs
with scattered macrophytes -
primarily Eichhomia crassipes and
Salvinia auriculata.
