Flora of Bolivia Family: Poaceae Leersia hexandra Swartz Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1997 Department of Santa Cruz Province of Herman Busch Laguna Caceras, below the town of Puerto Suarez. Elevation: ca. 120 m. Approximate center of the collecting area: 18°57'54"S. 57°47'46"W. Aquatic grass. Common. Growing as part of floating mats, but not normally the dominant species. Fertile. Habitat: a large floating mat of aquatic vegetation, dominated by Oxycaryum cubense and various grasses.
