Disturbed roadside in open chaparral.
Shrub to ca 22 dm tall locally ; associated with Salvia
mellifera, Baccharis pilularis, Lotus scoparius,
Arctostaphylos cf. glandulosa, Gnaphalium
microcephalum, etc.
