12 mi. S. of Tepic). Heavy tropical forests.
A few epiphytes, not too many ferns, some Begonias,
Bigniaceae (trees), and many Legumes. Beginning
of rainy season. Most ferns are sterile because
of young fronds.
Common along creek bank. Maidenhair
type. 12n-18" high.
