one patch of sandy prairie containing some "sandhill"
species, along road through coastal prairie dotted with
live oak mottes, on level upland underlain by Iissie
Formation (according to GAT, but looking more like
Beaumont in field), along NW-SE stretch of ranch's
major road, 0.8-0.9 roadmiles NW of jet with road just
E of HQ, or 7.1-7.2 airmiles S to SSE of F. M. 2441
bridge over Medio Creek, at N28015'25.2",
W097°25'50.4". Refugio SW Quadrangle. Elev. 70-72 ft.
Associates indude Acalypha radians, Amblyolepis setigera,
Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton capitatus, Dichondra carolinensis,
Monarda punctata, Pediomdum rhombifolium, Rhynchosia
americana, Rudbedda hirta, Schrankia latidens, Setaria parviflora,
Tephrosia lindheimeri.
