Farina beneath white when young. Plants were so fertile that the sporangia nearly fully obscured the farina.

Quito-Papallacta highway, just west of the Rio Chalpi Grande bridge. Common on
roadside bank, in area of wet forest, with Rhynchospora, shrubs, etc.

Duplicates: 3, to QCA, DUKE, NY. Each specimen consists of two sheets. This is sheet 2. Chromosome
