The New York Botanical Garden (L.) Pcac^-cx" NA^ SiA^ok^ XOl£> Ferns of Ecuador Napo Province PTERIDACEAE Pityrogramma Farina beneath white when young. Plants were so fertile that the sporangia nearly fully obscured the farina. C.J.Rothfels #3704, with P.Rothfels, E.Sigel, M.McHenry. 2010-March-5 Quito-Papallacta highway, just west of the Rio Chalpi Grande bridge. Common on roadside bank, in area of wet forest, with Rhynchospora, shrubs, etc. S0.36689.W78.08569 +/-7m. WGS 84. 2770 m elevation. Duplicates: 3, to QCA, DUKE, NY. Each specimen consists of two sheets. This is sheet 2. Chromosome material fixed, from the population.
