Open field with scattered shrubs,.mostly Brachyotum
confertum and Chuquiraga insignis (matoral). 3000-
3200 m.
Epiphytic rosette in tree. Inflorescence red,
corolla purple, fruits brown, 11 bases purple. Com-
mon.
