Culebrillas.
Flower stalk 3 m tall; arising from a rosette of
spiny leaves. Leaves ca. 1 m long. Inflorescence
swollen, broader than peduncle. Flowers blue green.
Anthers yellow. A conspicuous element of the páramo
flora.
