ALKALI DODDER. Parasites with orange stems, petals acu-
minate, longer than broad.
In canyon 1.5 mile N 40° W of Poleta Mine, Owens Valley
drainage, T7S R34E S6. On Psorothamnus arborescens in
broad wash sloping 5° W, shadscale scrub with Encelia.
Petalonyx, Atriplex, Eriogonum and Hvmenoclea. Sporadic-
ally common, locally mostly on indigobush.
