about three airline miles north
of Encinitas; found on the dry
slopes around a sediment basin
between the railroad tracks and
Interstate Highway 5; plants to
one meter tall; flowers yhite;
common in coastal sage scrub
with Mesembryanthemum, Encelia,
Rumex, Eriogonum, Haplopappus,
Brassica; T12S^ R4W, Sec. 33;
elev. 18 meters.
