Tepui forest (to 40m tall) on south-facing slope; 3-tiered with
Myristicaceae, Lauraceae, Swartzia, Annonaceae, Inga,
Dichapetalaceae; subcanopy rich in melastomes and palms; thin
layer of brown humus over white sandstone; diverse forest.
