The New York Botanical Garden Plants of MEXICO BROME Aechmea bracteata Edo. Veracruz, Mun. Gutierrez Zamora, E of Rio Tecolutla and S of Hwy. Mex. 180, 3 km. SE of 20°25'N, 97°04’W alt. 25 m. BOSQUE DE ENCINO. Nearly flat area on infertile, thin soil over alluvial gravels, dominated by Quercus oleoides 8-12 m. tall, with Byrsonima crassifolia, and with Scheelea lieb- mannii in lower areas.
