On slope at base of northermost hills, clay and gravelly soil. Secondary and remnants of tropical evergreen forest, with some remnant Astrocaryum.

Description
Tree 10 m tall, 20 cm in diameter; bark partly smooth, partly furrowed. Fruit dry, brown.
