    Western face of sandstone serra with horizontally bedded rocks. Extensive grassland & marsh on lower slopes and small streams with low woodland. Rock outcrops at high altitudes, with humid forest in rocky declivity below summit. This plant growing in open, over shrubs.

This plant growing in open, over shrubs.
Slender twining herb to 1.5 m. with thinly
coriaceous leaves^mid green above, paler
beneath with dark rhachis. Sepals pale
yellow-green at base, dark reddish-purple
above. Standard dull red on back with pale
whitish centre traversed by longitudinal
dark red veins. Standard on inner surface
bright pink with white elongate blaze on
limb, keel & wings bright pink.
