Loosely climbing vine; stems producing
ca. 1 root per node which extends to

semiglossy, dark green becoming gray,
weakly 1-ribbed; cataphylls somewhat
bulbous at base, medium green,

blades subcoriaceous, moderately
glossy, moderately bicolorous; midrib
obtusely flat-raised and concolorous

less concolorous below; primary lateral
veins obtusely sunken above, convex
below; minor veins moderately distinct;
inflorescence 1-3 per axil; spathe
green throughout outside (post
anthesis) pale green within; spadix
protruding 1-2 cm beyond end of spadix
post anthesis.
