GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Miners Camp below Aruwai Falls near
topside Peaima. 120 m. 6o22'30.1"N 60°34'47.8"W. Disturbed clearing
with weedy herbs on river abutting forest. Rocks, gravel, and brown
sandy soil. Some cultivated plants: Musa, Mangifera, Persea, Citrus,.
Tree 5 m tall at edge of clearing. Inflorescence long-paniculate, with
indeterminate growth of secondary branches. Leaves coriaceous, glossy
above with prominent primary and secondary veins below. Abundant
milky latex in all plant parts. Flowers... Flowers white with cream
yellow towards corolla tube, sweet smelling, fruits green, > 15 cm long.
