Nacional Sierra Nevada. 2100 m. 08°40TSf 071°24'W. Clambering
woody vine with elongate stems to 1-2 m. Calyx green. Immature fruit
greenish-purple and cone-shaped. Mature fruit display-like with dark
reddish-purple valves. Photographs of this collection are in the
