Lat.: 36°33'52"N Long.: 105»23,32"W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 11100 ft. In rocky (quartzite) organic soil on gentle N-facing slope with Picea. Senecio. Delphinium & Ribes. From large clone (>5 * 5 m) with long-creeping rhizomes; rhizome scales tan, non-clathrate; leaves nearly eglandular; leaf veins terminating in both teeth and notches; teeth of ultimate segments often minutely roughened on margins; spores malformed; plants apparently triploid with meiotic cells showing a mixture of multivalents, bivalents & univalents.
