CULTIVATED PLANTS OF FAIRCHILD TROPICAL GARDEN Miami, Florida Evodia elleryana F. Muell. FG59-921. Plot 39. Rec'd 8/20/59 from Dept. Forests, Lae, New Guinea. Native to the Lae area, common in 2° forests, low altitude and high rainfall (80” to 180”). Tree 10 m tall. Internal roots in lower trunk. Leaves 3-foliate, opposite, not typically aromatic for Rutaceae. Flowers white, borne on stems below leaves. Fruits white, slightly scented.
