Steep scree slopes with scattered Pinus spp., Abies
concolor, Ceanothus cordulatus, Artemisia tridentata,
Cercocarpus ledifolius, Ribes roezlii, R. cereum,
Holodiscus microphyllus, etc.
Geophyte with one terete leaf per bulb; locally
common in scree; perianth segments ca. 15-17 mm long.
