Downingia yina Appleg.
Trinity County. About 15 miles W of Coffee Creek and
about 1 mile N of Mt. Meadow Ranch off of Coffee Creek
Rd. Drying vernal pool and surrounding meadows
bordered by mixed coniferous woodland.
Low annual herb. Corolla blue-violet with yellow and
white on the large lower lip. Very common at drying
vernal pool margin.
