to wooded island in road, beside small parking
lot. Mixed upland forest, with many species, on
rich alluvial sandy-organic soil. Epiphytic
herbs, growing on a Quercus nigra trunk, 0.8 m
from the ground. Leaves 3-3.5 dm long; floral
bracts pink, corolla purple.
